Raspberry Ketone Pure Weight Loss Supplement Wins Best in Class

Red raspberries are nothing new when it comes to their health benefits, and neither are ketones. In fact, raspberry ketones have been on the FDA GRAS (generally recognized as safe) list since 1965. That begs the question as to why the sudden surge and excitement surrounding red raspberries and their special ketones.

Dr Oz, on his popular day-time TV show centered around healthy advice towards leading a higher quality of life through good nutrition, exercise and supplementation; recently aired a show titled “5 Fat Busters, for 5 Body Types, in 5 Days” and featured his number 1 most recommended weight loss supplement and ingredient as raspberry ketones.

Also featured was weight loss expert Lisa Lynn, who showcased a few of her personal clients and their ability to lose weight fast with raspberry ketone supplementation. Dr Oz spoke extremely highly of ketones from red raspberries and labeled them as a miracle fat burner in a bottle to help boost your metabolism and burn excess body fat.

Most of us associate red raspberries with their heavenly taste and sweet aroma rather than having weight loss effects. But it is the raspberry ketones that are primarily responsible for their smell and taste.

What makes the raspberry ketone weight loss possible is their effect on a hormone known as adiponectin, which naturally boosts your metabolism and tricks your body into thinking you are thin. The ketones from red raspberries break up the fat within your cells more effectively which helps burn fat more efficiently.

The first airing of the TV show back in February 2012 was 5 tips to boost your metabolism and stop gaining weight. Then eventually re-aired the show in late March 2012 and ever since these two shows have been brought to mainstream media and discussion, there have been an explosion of choices and selections when deciding which raspberry ketone product to buy.

Most of these companies and their new raspberry ketone supplements are simply trying to cash in on the buzz and excitement created by Dr Oz. In order to receive the maximum health benefits raspberry ketones can provide towards your weight loss goals, you must choose from a credible company who sources their natural ingredients with the highest quality manufacturing processes with your best interest in mind.

After reviewing all of the Raspberry Ketone Supplements available online, there is one which stands head and shoulders above the rest by the name of Raspberry Ketone Pure.

Raspberry Ketone Pure features 6 scientifically researched ingredients which support weight loss such as; Swanson Raspberry Ketones, African mango, acai berry, resveratrol, grapefruit and kelp extracts. They are also a BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited company with an A+ rating and have been in business for over 10 years with prior success and products in other areas of health and nutrition.

As always, there are three main staples which anyone should choose to follow no matter what diet program or health supplement you decide to follow.

1) Hydration – always keep in mind that nothing replaces water, not soda pop, not coffee, or fruit juices.

2) Whole Foods – no matter the weight loss supplement of your choice, choosing to be active in eating a wholefoods diet full of vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts, beans, brown rice, and fresh meats will far out weigh any supplements available.

3) Rest and Sleep – knowing the fact that the body restores, replenishes, and repairs itself the best while in deep sleep and relaxation is always something we must remind ourselves of on a daily basis.

There are now many different Raspberry Ketone products available online with the explosion and high demand Dr Oz caused. After careful research and due diligence, Raspberry Ketone Pure wins best in class among the wide variety of cheap, non-effective weight loss supplements.

5 Benefits of Caffeine

1. Run Longer, Think Faster: In a study done last year, researchers gave cyclists an energy bar with or without caffeine (equal to one cup of coffee) before and during a long, hard ride. They found that cyclists who have caffeine ride farther and think faster on cognitive tests than the no-caffeine group—useful news to runners in endurance events and adventure races, where quick decision-making is key.

2. Increase Sprint Speed: Consider drinking a cup ofcoffee before your next speed workout: Australian scientists gave fit athletesa 300-milligram dose of caffeine one hour before running five sets of 6 x20-meter sprints. They found that runners who have caffeine sprint faster thanthose who don’t have caffeine. Researchers think the stimulant enhancesreaction time and running speed.

3. Recover More Quickly: Runners know they need carbspostrun to rebuild their glycogen stores, but a recent study suggests caffeinemay also enhance recovery. Cyclists rode hard for two consecutive days to draintheir glycogen stores. They then drank a carb beverage with or withoutcaffeine. Researchers found that having a drink with caffeine rebuilds glycogenstores 66 percent more than a carb-only drink.

4. Hydrate Smart: Many people have heardcaffeine causes dehydration. Most studies, though, show you can have up to 550milligrams of caffeine (or about five cups of coffee) without affectinghydration levels. That means you can have quite a few caff einated sportsdrinks and gels while running without risking dehydration; more than 550milligrams will have a diuretic effect.

5. Keep Bones Healthy: A few studies have shown alink between bone-mineral loss and caffeine—but a close look at the datareveals that caffeine itself doesn’t cause the mineral loss. Many coffee loversmay drink it in place of beverages rich in calcium (such as milk), and as aresult, decrease their intake of this bone-strengthening mineral.

Probiotic Bacteria May Help Treat Depression

Bacteria in the gut candirectly influence the brains of mice and perhaps humans, scientists find.

This discovery could lead tonew ways to control depression, anxiety and other disorders. And while miceserve as good models for understanding aspects of the human brain, the findingsneed to be replicated in humans.

The scientists detailed theirfindings online Aug. 29 in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Researchers have increasingly begun to suspect the gut was somehow linked with the brain. For instance, bowel disorders seem linked withstress-related psychiatricdisorders such as anxiety and depression in people.

To learn more, scientists experimented with mice by feedingthem a broth containing Lactobacillus rhamnosus JB-1. This speciesnaturally lives in our gut, and scientists are exploring whether strains of itcan be used as “probiotics” to improve our health. They discoveredthese rodents displayed significantly less behavior linked with stress, anxietyand depression than mice fed plain broth. Bacteria-fed mice also hadsignificantly lower levels of the stress hormone corticosterone in response tostressful situations such as mazes.

“By affecting gutbacteria, you can have very robust and quite broad-spectrum effects onbrain chemistry and behavior,” researcher John Cryan, a neuroscientist at UniversityCollege Cork in Ireland, told LiveScience.

“Without overstating things, this does open up theconcept that we could develop therapies that can treat psychiatric disorders bytargeting the gut,” Cryan added. “You could take ayogurt with a probiotic in it instead of an antidepressant.”

“Now, that would not be an everyday yogurt — I’m notsaying you should go out to the supermarket and try doing this,” hecautioned. “The effect depends on the strain of probiotic you use. Thehope would be, though, that this could have less side effects thandrugs.”

“The vagus nerve” To figure out the probiotic-stress link, the researchersprobed the brains of the bacteria-fed mice, investigating molecules calledreceptors that brain cells use to receive signals. In particular, they focusedon receptors for gamma-aminobutyric acid, or GABA. This neurotransmitter, thetarget of the anti-anxiety drug Valium, is the main chemical used to inhibitactivity in the central nervous system and regulates many physiological andpsychological processes.

The investigators found that one GABA receptor component waspresent in higher levels in bacteria-fed mice in parts of the brain where it isnormally lowered during depression. In addition, several GABA receptorcomponents were reduced in parts of the brain where they are normally increasedin stressed oranxious animals.

Next, the researchers severed the vagus nerve, which helpsalert the central nervous system to changes in the gastrointestinal tract. Theyfound the bacteria-induced effects on behavior and GABA receptors were diminished, suggesting this nerve is the pathway by which changes in the gut can influencethe brain.

Vagal nerve stimulations have been used at times to treatdepression resistant to other therapies, but “that’s a surgicaltechnique,” Cryan said. “By targeting thegut with probiotics, we could indirectly target the vagus nerve withoutsurgery.”

Follow-up studies will investigate whether these bacteria havethis effect alive or dead, to see if it is due to either something the microbesare equipped with or release; further studies can also tease out whether thegut can affect other brain chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine, which havebeen linked with mood, among other factors. “Also, we found this in mice —this is a long way from clinical applications in people,” Cryan said.
